What is Methenolone Enanthate

Methenolone Enanthate is an anabolic steroid and is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). One can say that it is an androgenic steroid too, but it is much more anabolic than androgenic, the ratio would be about 1 to 11. This drug doesn’t form any estrogens when it interacts with the aromatase enzyme.

Methenolone Enanthate is sold under the brand name Primobolan Depot. Primo doesn’t cause estrogen-related side effects; even those who are prone to them are out of risk. Generally this steroid has mild negative effects on women and beginners while it is an excellent cutting agent, which is why this drug is very popular among athletes and bodybuilders.

This drug can also be used in bulking cycles in order to heighten the anabolic nature of the cycle. Methenolone Enanthate showed great effects in helping people with HIV and AIDS by increasing their appetite and improving their immune system.

How to use Methenolone Enanthate

Methenolone Enanthate is used both by men and women. Especially women are using this anabolic steroid because it is one of the few drugs women can use without high risks of growing male-like characteristics. Usually, the drug comes in form of tablets to be taken by mouth or in injectable form. The dosage depends on personal goal and health condition. It has been established that if using the drug in injectable form (most common form), a dosage of about 300 mg per week for men would be minimal to get beneficial results, yet, one can use even more - up to 1000mg per week - higher isn’t recommended.

Female athletes should have a much lower dosage than men, reports show that women respond well to the drug’s effects anywhere between 50 and 100 mg per week for a good ratio of benefits/side effects. In order to get most benefit of this drug and not to be exposed to high risks of side effects, it is believed that one should not use this drug for more than 16 weeks but not less than 3 weeks (less than 3 weeks would be a waste), it depends on personal goals and aims.

The drug can be and it is recommended to be stacked with other steroids such as: Testosterone, Anadrol, Dianabol, Winstrol, Oxandrolone and others. Stacks depend on personal goals.

Side effects of Methenolone Enanthate

Due to the fact that Methenolone Enanthate doesn’t aromatize, it excludes unpleasant side effects that many steroids users can experience: water retention that many athletes and bodybuilders try to avoid, gynecomastia and dangerously increasing blood pressure. Moreover, because this drug is an unalkylated steroid, it is also out of risk for liver toxicity.

Still, as any other steroid, Methenolone Enanthate has some side effects such as:  bone pain, nausea, unusual hair growth or hair loss, vomiting, oily skin, deepening of the voice, enlarged clitoris, irregular menstrual periods, unusual frequency of erections, acne, increased aggression and insomnia. This is not the full list of side effects.
